LG Cinema Screen LM6700 55-Inch Cinema 3D 1080p 120 Hz LED-LCD HDTV Review (Model cardinal 55LM6700 ) Video Clips. Duration : 7.93 Mins.

- Please note I received this for reviewing purposes- The LG LM6700 is my second LED 3D TV, but the first using passive 3D glasses. The LM6700 has a lot of things to like in both performance and features, and in many ways it a very thought-out television. Picture Quality - For our basic TV watching we use a Tivo HD, which has a maximum resolution of 1080i. This seems to be ok for our 46" Samsung LED TV, but the larger 55" begins to show some picture degradation. Obviously, this is not the fault of the TV - just an observation. When watching Blu-rays you will notice that the picture quality is considerably better (the blu-rays are in 1080p). Also, the use of the 3D mode seems to help make the TV sharper, and really seems to maximize the capabilities of the unit. Brightness - This probably should fall under picture quality, but the LG LM6700 is not very bright. It is noticeably darker when compared to our Samsung 46UN8000. The claim is that this helps save electricity, but I am not sure if I buy that argument since all LED TVs will be energy efficient. The overall lack of brightness is my biggest overall beef with the LM6700 and is the reason for me taking off 1/2 star. 3D Effect - To repeat a central theme - it is very easy to use. The passive 3D glasses means no batteries and no need to sync them with the TV. It also makes them lighter and easier to wear for extended periods. The 3D performance is nice and controllable, it may be a little less pronounced than the active ...

First, let's review the features. The LG Cinema Screen 47LM7600 comes with some innovative features. For example, Magic Remote is a feature that allows you to control your television like a Nintendo Wii. You just need to point to the screen and your cursor will follow using the television sensors.

Like most televisions, the LG Cinema Screen 47LM7600 also comes with a smart share system. This allows you to easily browse files from external storage devices such as your laptop, cameras, and phones. You can even connect through Wi-Fi if your external device comes with such features.

In terms of the actual picture quality, you will be awed by how vibrant the colors are. Using the next generation 3D Technology, you can even experience cool 3D Movies like Avatar in your own home. With a high definition resolution of 1080p (the highest currently available), your picture will look extra crisp and sharp. There are several models for this TV. The best model available (LM9600) comes with a TruMotion technology of 480 Hz. Obviously, this is not as great as Plasma TVs and you may experience motion blurs once in a while. However, most if not all action scenes will appear clear.

As an ENERGY STAR qualified television, you will also save a lot of energy. When you check your electricity bill, you will be surprised by how much you saved, especially if you compare it with previous bills. So what did customers have to say about this television?

The first customer we interviewed was very please with the LG Cinema Screen 47LM7600. She was especially pleased with the stand which came with the TV. It was extremely durable and the television mounted without much issues. However, one issue the customer had with the LG Cinema Screen 47LM7600 was the screen matrix. She found it to be of low quality. What does this result in? A light and cloud effect for certain images. You can never miss this on a dark screen. That said, this issue did not really cause any huge problems with the overall television use.

Another customer commented that the magic remote feature was a little boring. In the beginning, she found it pretty cool because there was a now mouse cursor on her screen, but the excitement quickly died down when she no longer had any use for television apps. So what do you think about this television? Would you get a LG Cinema Screen 47LM7600?
